 Dual Language Annual Conference &

 Pre-Conference Events

The purpose of this conference is to create the opportunity for dual language educators to network and collaborate, increase our professional development, share instructional methods that promote bilingualism and multiculturalism, disseminate current research, and learn new ways to reach out to families and communities. This conference is an opportunity for school and district leaders, classroom teachers, and staff working in Dual Language Education programs to network with other Dual Language practitioners, engage in professional development for Dual Language instruction, and learn how to develop and advocate for Dual Language Education.

Registration Closed
The in-person conference will be held at the Dwight Bellizzi Dual Language Academy in Hartford, CT.

Sponsors

MABE invites vendors, publishers, exhibitors, and other companies/organizations to visit 2023 Conference Sponsor Menu to learn more about the possible sponsor packets available to you.

Pre-Conference School Visits

MABE has been organizing school/program tours since 2013 as part of MABE’s conference goal to make connections. During the pandemic, school visits were canceled. This year we are back to in-person and reinstating the pre-conference school visits in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Registration for School Visits closed on Friday, January 27. Thank you to the districts that opened their doors to visitors!

Pre-Conference Roundtable

MABE's Pre-Conference Virtual Roundtable is an advocacy event for invited guests including district leaders, state education agencies, legislators, higher education institutions, and community organizations from Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Maine. By making connections and creating opportunities for collaboration among many stakeholders, we will be able to move forward together in creating the most equitable education and language learning programs for our students, especially those in underserved groups. Invited guests can register for this year's "Equity and Implications of the Science of Reading on Dual Language Programs" here.

Members are be able to find past recordings and materials on our Member’s Only website pages.
