Feature your students in #MABE2021 This year’s 10th Annual Southern New England Conference for Dual Language programs will celebrate the theme: Dual Language Standing Strong. To open the conference we are working with Guero Loco on the keynote address where we want to feature YOU and YOUR STUDENTS holding signs representing this theme. See the example of Guero’s Dream Act Song during his session in MABE’s last conference. We are also looking to close the conference on an equally powerful note, by representing students and teachers in our region with short videos on what it means to be bilingual. Click on the link for details on how you can submit photos and videos. We would love to feature you and your students! Read the guidelines for submission here. Southern New England Regional Conference for Dual Language Programs The purpose of this conference is to create the opportunity for dual language educators to network and collaborate, increase our professional development, share instructional methods that promote bilingualism and multiculturalism, disseminate current research, and learn new ways to reach out to families and communities. This conference is dedicated to supporting each other as we continue to face the challenges of distance teaching and learning for Dual Language programs. It provides an opportunity for colleagues to share their successes and to network and collaborate during this new reality. | 2021 Virtual Conference Theme: Dual Language Education Standing Strong Date: Friday, March 19, 2021 (opening ceremony) and Saturday, March 20, 2021 (Workshop options) Opening Ceremony Guest: Guero Loco Closing Keynote Speaker: Cheryl Urow, The Center for Teaching for Biliteracy Registration: Register here from January 1, 2021 to March 15, 2021 CALL for Presenters Open!
