 Two-Day District Leadership Training


Date: Monday, June 24 and Tuesday, June 25, 2019

Time: 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

Location: Heritage Room, Maxwell Library, Bridgewater State University


       District Leadership Teams should register as a GROUP       

District Leadership Teams should consist minimum of 4 district leaders (Example: EL Dir., Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and/or Human Resources, School Committee, EL and/or World Language teacher or Coach, Principal and/or Assistant Principal, Student Support Specialist, Literacy Specialist, Parent, Parent Information Center Liaison)

The 2-day Leadership Training will provide information to assist district leadership teams in decision making on topics that include, but are not limited to student demographics, program models, identification and placement, staffing, curriculum, parent and community outreach and research on the benefits of DLE programs and on issues of equity and social justice.  Tools developed and recommended by MABE will be made available.  Participants will begin work on an Action Plan that they will continue to develop upon return to their districts.  The Action Plan will support participants in identifying next steps in the implementation process.
